Chanukah is a special day that tends to coincide with Christmas on and off. it's a time for family and spirituality thus the lack of high marketing and advertisement for the holiday. And like many Jewish joyous events, we like to celebrate with food. And something that is simple to make but easy to mess up is the humble Latke. Everyone has made their variation and from the classic latke with sour cream and apple sauce to just plain ole Latke with ketchup.
Here is a Latke with sour cream and chives and a spicy smokey chipotle sour cream combo.

In my attempt to defy tradition in making sushi, I decided to go on my own and and attempt a roll with just simply a seaweed wrap and plastic wrap to prevent the rice from sticking toy hand. I feel I've done a good job in this instance and came out successfully and ended my lunch satisfied.
We are a spicy household. These are one of our favorite dishes in our arsenal of recipes... Coconut Curry potatoes with chickpeas and string beans. With a punch of cayenne and and sprinkle of paprika, it becomes our palette bombshell
